"Finding it Hard to make a Hair Appointment?"

Finding it Difficult Keeping up with your favorite Hair Stylist? You are not alone! Whether your Stylist is bi-coastal or stays booked, chances are you’ve called for appointments only to realize your go-to stylist isn’t available!
Here are some great moves for clients and service providers to stay connected!
  • Book appointments as far in advance as possible! Make it a New Year’s Task to book appointments for the entire year if you can.
  • Stay connected. Chances are your stylist is also a friend if you’ve been seeing them regularly.
" Stay Connect" to your Service Provider using online tools like MyAppointmentOnly.com where you can Search, Find & Book Appointments Online! You can also mark them as your favorite, keep up with your appointment history and much much more all from your MyAppointmentOnly.com Client Membership!  If your Stylist isn't a member of MyAppointmentOnly.com, Suggest that they join so you can always book an appointment    with them even when they are busy & you will never lose touch with again!  Sign up for your FREE Client Membership today!
  • If they’re headed out of town, you might even want to squeeze an appointment out of them.
  • Here’s a tip…TIP your stylist! A little effort goes a long way, and taking the time to show gratitude and appreciation may mean the extra inch in your next service.
  • Find out what products your stylist is using to maintain your mane between appointments. If your stylist is on the go, schedule a consultation session with your stylist for a “tutorial” on how to style your own hair for those emergency situations (i.e. surprise date nights )
And, if all else fails, schedule an untraditional session with your stylist. If you’ve been going (and tipping) for a while, they may be willing to come on an off day or open up shop a little early to fit you in (note: if you constantly cancel at the last minute and don’t tip, this approach is not for you)

"Stay Connected to your Clients"

"The secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his opportunity when it comes."
~Benjamin Disraeli~

As a Hair or Skin Care service provider, you know that your business constantly evolves as your business grows.  For your professional development, you may move from place to place so that you can improve your client service time, build your clientele or even learn new industry skills.
While your business is evolving, how do you plant to connect and stay connected to the clients who are driving your business and better yet, how do your clients connect and stay connected to you?  Wouldn’t it be great if you could show up wherever your clients are looking for you?  And where are they looking for you?  Yep, Online!
In the 21st Century 70% of clients start 95% of their searches for services on the World Wide Web that we know as the Internet.

Having a Strong Online Presence
Businesses that are positively linked to multiple websites are considered to have a strong online presence.  The more useful information you have about your business on the Internet, the more relevant you become when someone searches for you on Google, Yahoo and MSN.

Some businesses have Company WebsitesWebsites are a great way to profile everything there is to know about your business. The question that you must ask yourself while developing your website is, does your website make a call for action to your client.

Other companies attempt to profiles their business on Social Networking Sites such as Facebook, MySpace, linked in, blog on blogger, and post videos on YouTube.  These social networking sites are good for networking and making deeper connections with your clients, but are commonly mistaken for a way to profile your business.  The importance of being apart of social networking is that you are apart of a larger community, thus, giving you a stronger online presence.

Another way companies profile their business is on an Industry Specific Social Networking Sties like MyAppointmentOnly.com, Autotrader.com, and Opentable.com just to name a few. The important difference between industry specific sites and other social networking sites is that industry sites strategically call your clients to do business with you!  They provide both you and your clients with industry specific tools to do business online.  Whether that is making a hair appointment, purchasing a car or making a dinner reservation, your clients can continue momentum when doing online business with your company.

Making a strong FIRST Connection
A business that has a strong online presence manages to uses all of the three different types of sites listed above and strategically link them together for a circular communication model.  No matter where your client goes to find you online, there you are presenting your business to them.

If you successfully link your business to different online sites, you are guaranteed to not only make a positive first impression, but you are also able to make a strong first connection before meeting your client.  Now, if someone finds you on Facebook, they can click on your link to visit your custom website and continue the momentum by clicking on your schedule appointment button that directs them to your online profile on MyAppointmentOnly.com.  Or they find your profile on MyAppointmetnOnly.com, where all your business information is listed.  From there, clients can link to your blog and read useful information.  When they are all done they can visit your custom website where they can see more relevant business information and continue momentum by making an appointment online, in real time!

I will be sharing new industry insider information from my desk to your inbox!  So if you received this email, you will receive the others.  Please share this message with any other service providers in the industry that you think are about their business!

Let's continue the focus!  We would like to hear from you!  What are some of the ways you connect to your clients?

"Connecting Clients & Service Providers"
Network, Communicate & Do Lots of Business

"Success is where preparation and opportunity meet"  ~ Bobby Unser

Over the Years we've shared great conversation with different stylists, make up artists, estheticians, and even nail techs.  The MyAppointmentOnly team got to learn more about your business and discuss your frustrations in the hair & skin care industry.  We felt it was our duty to address your concerns by addressing your needs and identifying your opportunities so that you can continue to grow and expand your business.

This past month MyAppointmentOnly.com held several focus groups with service providers in the Hair & Skin care industry and their clients. They were able to to identify 3 different opportunities you need to take advantage of in order to Grow & Expand your Business.

Opportunity #1   Connecting to Clients:  No matter how your business grows and evolves throughout the years, you still want your clients to be able to connect and stay connected to your business.  So how do you achieve that?

Opportunity #2  Automating parts of your Business:  Automating different aspects of your business translates into ~ Giving better customer service.  Being accessible to your clients even when YOU are not accessible.  Un-glue yourself from the phone.  Have more time to do those things you love to do!
